When the Unique Paper Company approached us to design their new website we realised they had a problem. They manufacture well over 200 hundred product lines on a short run basis, mostly seasonal giftwarp and accessories for retail. Its a fashion driven business and about 25% of the stock lines are changed every six months. The problem was that they had little current photography and what they had would soon be out of date. I convinced them that reproducing all their styles as computer 3D images would be much cheaper, consistent and flexible than embarking on a huge photographic effort. We have since gone on to creating whole product group images for a number of national advertisements.

This is a great example of how relatively simple low cost 3D modelling can be of huge benefit.
