Everybody needs a website.
For an individual an entry in Facebook or MySpace might do, but for any kind of business a website designed specifically for that company's particular needs and branding is essential.

A website should be part of the marketing mix of every company these days. The
internet is the first-choice medium for researching new products and services,
particularly by small businesses. Not having a web presence is ignoring a large
proportion of potential customers.

A website providing contact and business information can add credibility with larger
customers, banks and rating agencies.

A website provides the benefits of a glossy brochure but with many advantages;

1. A website can be updated rapidly to reflect changes in offered product

2. A website can provide a shopping facility so that customers can order at their
convenience.

3. Content pages can be restricted by secure password so that not only do you know
who is reviewing your product but also when and how often.

4. Special offers and pricing promotions can be offered to particular customers

5. Users comments and access applications become a database for sales follow-ups
and news emails, creating a direct dialogue between business and customer.

There is a standard range of information that every business needs to provide but its surprising how many sites fail to provide it in a clear and understandable manner. We know what's required.

We also know how to make sure that your site appears near the top in Google searches for your particular service or product

Most companies understand the need for a web presence but do not have the expertise in-house to produce an acceptable result. At the same time an e-commerce web site built from the ground up by large design company can be shockingly expensive.

To ensure that we can produce professionally designed sites in a short period at reasonable cost we utilise a flexible template-based system in Rapidweaver that we further tweak in Dreamweaver and CSS Edit. This gives us the best of both worlds: page designs by professional designers from all over the world that we can then adapt to the needs of our client; and have proven experience of building PayPal and WorldPay driven e-commerce sites that 'just work'.

THE UNIQUE PAPER COMPANY
Our largest website project to date has been for the Unique Paper Company as part of a complete re-branding exercise for this relatively new manufacturer. The black gloss theme with striking colour contrasts has been carried right through all advertising and their exhibition stand.

The site features a large password-protected area for clients where the entire product catalogue is presented (modelled completely in 3D computer graphics by us). Authorised clients can then order stock directly using the RBS Worldpay based webshop.

RED PLANET PICTURES
This is the website of Tony Jordan's production company. Tony is probably best known for being one of the original Eastenders writers. I mentioned to Tony in an email that his existing site 'sucked' and he had the good grace to let me design him a new one!
